Life Coaching is an incredible self exploratory process where the coach partners with you to redesign you and your environment in order to help you live a successful and meaningful life. The follow up sessions help with accountability and making sure you are following through what we discussed in session.

The coaching sessions are typically held on phone, skype or in person. That means you could be anywhere in the world and we can still connect without any issues. The session lasts for an hour. We start with a review of how you are progressing. Often we take a minute to center ourselves with a relaxing visualization exercise. This helps take you to a much-needed calm space where you can be more open and creative. Then we proceed with the coaching, the empowering process that is focused on finding the answers within (as opposed to outside) through challenging and insightful questions. I offer you various tools and resources that can help create a clearer picture of the obstacles and their potential solutions. Each session ends with a SMART goals and action plans for you. All coaching sessions are completely confidential. I consider the trust that my clients place in me to be a great honor and privilege.
Is this difficult?
I wouldn't say it is difficult but I will certainly make it as challenging you are willing to try. Most times things seem difficult only before you have actually tried them. Once you are in they seem manageable. Rest assured that we won't make any action plan that you do not agree with. We proceed only if you are willing and excited about it. The fact is , If you never try you will never know! After all I am here to make things happen for you. This is for you and so it is important that your heart is in it. How is coaching different from Counselling or Therapy?
- Coach is a motivator who stays with client through the action plan keeping client focused and helping during obstacles unlike counselling which ends with action plan delivery.
- Counselling and therapy focus on the past to assess what brought you to the place you are today. Coaching is focused on the future, to bring you closer to your vision, the big picture; and create creative possibilities for you to move forward.
- Coaching clients need not have issues. They could be satisfied people wanting more from their lives. This is the reason there is no stigma attached to coaching as opposed to counselling/therapy.
- Counselling/Therapy takes people from dysfunctional level to a functional level, whereas coaching is focused on taking them from functional level to optimal level.
- A coach does not give you direct advice or prescribe medications. Instead, he/she empowers you to find your own solutions and makes sure you follow through with specific action plans.
- A life coach does not position him/herself as superior to the client, but as a partner and a confidante. Coaching is all about positivity, support and inspiration.
